Giorgio Laveri is an Italian ceramist working for more than 40 years in Albisola, a town in Liguria known for its artistic ceramics.It is in the world of cinema that Laveri draws his inspiration because parallel to his career as a sculptor, he is a renowned film director.The oversized lipstick evokes the make-up of cinema and the seduction of actresses but also denounces the phallocracy of the Italian cinematographic milieu. Present at the Ferrero Gallery since 2003, the ceramist Laveri exhibits regularly in Italian and European public museums.
