Once is not custom, the Ferrero Gallery hosts its walls a local artist who is not part of his stable. This is an artist who is not part of any team for that matter. Unusual character, singular, Paulin Nikolli has established itself over the years in the Nice artistic landscape. A native of Albania, with a difficult life course, he set up his studio in Old Nice, and get used to exhibit his paintings in the street, to the point that in 2009 the City Council made seize his works for irregular occupation the public domain.
But his persistence paid off: in 2014 he became undeniably local artist best known in the world! Yes, through a video report of the New York Times that was watched by 32 million Internet users. For his documentary on the French Riviera capital, "36 hours in Nice," the journalist Max Cantor chose to interview, among all artists Nice, Paulin Nikolli.
